Llama fiber is a medulated, natural protein animal fiber. It has no lanolin or "grease" and is classified as a specialty or luxury fiber. Some of the characteristics of llama fiber are:
strength, fineness, comfort, warmth and lightweight. You do not need bulk in llama fiber to have warmth. Llama fiber comes in natural colors and those can be dyed if so desired.
